Compassionate, Convenient, Confidential
I am a dedicated therapist with over 17 years of experience providing outpatient therapy. I am deeply passionate about the work I do, and I find immense joy in helping individuals discover their strengths, conquer their fears, and achieve their goals. Witnessing the transformation and growth of clients is truly fulfilling for me, and I am grateful to be a part of their journey.
I specialize in helping clients navigate transitions related to retirement and aging:
Together we will identify your values and priorities so that you can move forward with confidence and peace.
Change can be scary because it often involves stepping outside of our comfort zones and facing the unknown. Our brains are wired to seek familiarity and routine, so when that is disrupted by change, even positive change, it can trigger feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and fear. Additionally, change can bring about a sense of loss or leaving behind what is familiar and safe, which can be unsettling for many people.
We will work together to create a retirement that inspires and fulfills you.
We will reflect on your values and Interests and consider what activities bring you joy and fulfillment. We will discover what you care about and what inspires you.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I have experience working with both adolescents and adults, guiding them through challenges and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their inner selves, develop resilience and achieve personal growth. It would be my privilege to work with you towards healing and self discovery.
Prior to my career as a therapist, I spent 20 years in the business world, which has provided me with valuable insights and a unique perspective in my practice. I am a step- parent of three adult children and a loving grandparent to eight grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, hiking, playing pickleball, and cherishing moments with my friends and family.
